That’s what you’ll experience with the “GS 964” in top form. Here, nothing is taken away from you by assistance systems that make you a spectator in the driver’s seat.
You will experience Porsche driving as new, with the “GS 964” in its original form, with the modified technology of the 90s, at the mechanical-technical zenith of automobile construction.
The joy of driving a Porsche means having an intimate experience with the “GS 964”. The limits of physics and the limits of your driving skills are not regulated here. This fun remains with you in all its dynamism.
A “GS 964” is more than just a vehicle, it is an expression of freedom and an attitude to life that knows how to enjoy. When it comes to enjoyment, your common sense is also called for, because the “GS 964” leaves only you to decide on the right measure. Here you still hear that, why sound is also called a melody of the engines. And this sound is not chip-controlled. The GS Manufaktur preserves the typical Porsche sound that still comes from the engine.
The increase in engine power, modifications to the chassis, a reduced overall weight and the use of carbon, specially designed for body parts of the F model, result in an apparatus of a special kind: the “GS 964”.
Every component meets the highest standards of craftsmanship. In meticulous detail work, nothing is left to chance.
The first driving experience with the machine is the test drive, which leads from Baden-Baden to the Black Forest. Gerhard Stefan does not miss the opportunity to demonstrate the machine to his visitors in its entire “bandwidth”.
The “GS 964” as a C4 is the perfect, curve-loving driving machine. The fun of the “GS 964” is hard to describe, you just have to experience it yourself.
Our specially developed carbon outer mold, is our greatest pride. Through a very complex manufacturing process on the CAD program, our original design was further developed and now manufactured in 100% carbon.
All parts are manufactured in autoqlave to achieve the highest quality level.
The design and construction of the attached and installed parts of the original model are copyrighted in our workshop. The design of the parts made of composite materials was also designed and copyrighted in our own workshop.
For the “GS 964” 4.000 working hours were necessary to realize own shaping and manufacturing of the body parts as well as technical and equipment-related individualizations on the whole vehicle.
By using also specially developed turn signal and taillight frames, we have been able to achieve a very good fit.
All frames and attachments and milled from a block of aluminum to achieve again a very noble and stable quality.
We have developed the exhaust system especially for our “GS 964”. Due to the flap system and the Fon specification of the 90s, we were able to design a sound that is unique. We agree with the opinion and attitude of Michael Pfadenhauer, Head of Acoustics and Vibration Technology at Porsche.

The further development of the Type 911 (until the construction year 1988) into the Type 964 can be described as a quantum leap.
The base vehicle Porsche Type 964, C2, unladen weight: 1150 kg
The base vehicle Porsche Type 964, C4, all-wheel, unladen weight: 1350 kg
Both types have the revised floor assembly with McPherson struts at the front, adjustable coil springs at the rear, and ABS, power steering, air conditioning, airbags and power brakes. No downshifts.
The installed technology is particularly well suited for still unregulated, pure driving fun. Our modifications to the body, exhaust system, suspension tuning and many assemblies, as well as the increase in engine power, multiply the driving pleasure.
The 964 C2 with rear-wheel drive is only about 200 kg lighter.
Our recommendation: The 964 C4 with all-wheel drive offers an even greater driving experience in the curves.
Our carbon “GS 964” design is also suitable for the Porsche 993.
However, we are of the opinion that the rear axle developed and installed for the 993 destroys too much driving pleasure because it is too far developed and no longer embodies the character of a classic car/purist.
